Shinagawa Aquarium

しながわ水族館

Katsushima (Shinagawa Kumin Park) · near Omorikaigan Station (Keikyu Line); free shuttle bus from JR Oimachi Station (8 min walk)

A traditional, well-loved municipal aquarium (opened 1991) set in a park, with a 500-ton tunnel tank, jellyfish and seal areas, and daily marine-mammal shows. Further south than the bay attractions but firmly in Shinagawa ward.

Why children love it: A 22m walk-through tunnel tank with rays and sea turtles overhead, plus a lively daily dolphin show — classic, unhurried aquarium day.
