Some shops offer make-your-own plastic-food workshops, a fun hands-on activity for families.
Why children love it: The uncannily realistic fake food (dripping ice cream, sushi, tempura) is fascinating, and you can buy quirky food-sample magnets/keychains or try a plastic-food-making workshop.
Honest drawbacks: Primarily a shopping street, not an attraction — best as a 30-60 min stop; many shops close Sundays/holidays and by ~17:00; workshops need advance booking.
