Samurai Restaurant (adults only)
サムライレストラン
Shinjuku (Kabukicho) · near Shinjuku / Seibu-Shinjuku
A loud, neon, dancers-drummers-and-giant-robots dinner show in Shinjuku Kabukicho, opened by the same operator as the (now permanently closed) Robot Restaurant on a similar site. It is deliberately over-the-top — flashing lights, costumed performers, samurai and monster floats.
Honest drawbacks: This is an 18+ show in Kabukicho, Tokyo’s adult-entertainment district — it is NOT suitable for children, despite often appearing on old "things to do with kids" lists that really meant the closed Robot Restaurant. For a family ninja/samurai experience, use the Samurai Ninja Museum in Asakusa or Ninja Trick House instead.
