Inokashira Onshi Park
井の頭恩賜公園
Kichijoji · near Kichijoji Station (JR Chuo / Keio Inokashira), or Inokashira-koen Station (Keio Inokashira Line) (5 min walk)
One of Tokyo's best-loved parks (about nine Tokyo-Domes in area) wrapped around a central pond, five minutes from the shops of Kichijoji. Ideal low-cost half-day when paired with the zoo or Ghibli Museum, both of which sit inside/beside it.
Why children love it: Pedal a swan boat across the pond, feed no one but watch the ducks, then let off steam at the colourful 'Buranko Hiroba' playground with its jungle gym and see-saws.

Add Inokashira Onshi Park to a plan →Editor’s note: The playground is genuinely popular — queues form even on weekdays. Address left null (multiple garden entrances); navigate to the station instead.
